Sarah Millwee Ph.D.

Clinical Psychologist | PSY33413

Dr. Sarah (she/her/hers) has a deep passion for coming alongside her patients to understand how their unique histories contribute to who they are today. To achieve this, Dr. Sarah strives to cultivate a warm, safe, and genuine space, in hopes to allow her patients to enter into the more difficult aspects of their experiences.

She primarily provides treatment from a relational psychodynamic and attachment-based framework, which looks carefully at how early life experiences form the ways in which individuals experience themselves, relationships in their lives, and the world around them. Dr. Sarah takes this depth approach to provide her patients with long lasting change, which typically is a good fit for individuals with longer term treatment interest and commitment.

Within this framework, Dr. Sarah enjoys working with individuals wanting to pursue deep understanding of themselves, that might present with long standing histories of anxiety, depression, difficulties related to identity development, and difficult childhood experiences. Dr. Sarah also has special interests and training in working with individuals that have experienced childhood trauma, complex trauma, as well as individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community.
